Retro 70’s Laundromat (and Launderette) photos

I came across some awesome photos of some retro Laundromats that I am pleased to share with you. These are retro!

Retro washers in almost my favourite color– bright, vibrant orange.

Now I had no idea about this, having never been there, but apparantly laundromats (as they are called at least here in Canada and the United States) are called launderettes in the UK. Sounds more French to me but there you have it.

It may look like a cave through the door and windows, but the sign above this store is great retro style, colors, fonts.
